Finding the Small Halos
The idea for smalo didn’t come from a grand epiphany; it came from small, everyday moments that helped heal me during highly stressful times.
When I was working a demanding job, I was exhausted every day. Yet, I found myself experiencing these unexpected, healing moments. A colleague who kept cozy slippers at her desk taught me something vital: you don’t have to wait for reality to be perfect to enjoy it.
Our name comes from the idea of a “small halo.” We believe that no matter how stressful life gets, there is always a small halo of hope, beauty, and light waiting to be found. The calming blue reminds us to breathe, while the bright orange dot represents that concentrated spark of energy.
